Discovery Preparatory Academy was founded by Dr. LE on a simple, stubborn idea: that children learn best from books, from teachers, and from being expected to master something before they are allowed to move past it.
The Founder

Dr. LE founded Discovery Preparatory Academy to build the school she believed families were asking for and struggling to find: one that had not quietly replaced instruction with software, nor lowered the bar to keep the class moving.
Every enquiring family speaks with Dr. LE directly. That is not a scheduling accident. A school this deliberate about how it teaches should be equally deliberate about who it admits, and about understanding a child before placing them.

What we believe about teaching children
