We serve students from PK3 and PK4 in Early Childhood, through Kindergarten to Grade 8 in the Lower and Middle School, and Grades 9 to 12 in the Upper School — all under one philosophy, so a child never has to start over.

It means printed textbooks rather than screens, a teacher leading the lesson at the front of the room, written work marked by hand, and mastery of the material before a class moves on. It is a deliberate choice, not a limitation.

Instruction is centred on printed books and direct teaching rather than devices. For the school’s current policy on technology use in each program, please contact us.

Upper School students may pursue trade and certification pathways alongside their academic coursework. Contact the school for the current list of pathways, the awarding bodies involved, and what each one requires of a student.

Enrollment begins with an inquiry. Submit the enrollment form or call the school. From there we arrange a visit and interview, then move to the application and enrollment steps. The full sequence is set out on our Admissions section.

Discovery Preparatory Academy is funded by tuition, which is set for each academic year and varies by program. We share the full schedule of rates and fees during the admissions conversation, before any family is asked to commit. Request the tuition schedule.

Families are welcome to inquire at any point in the year. Placement depends on availability in the relevant grade, so please contact us to discuss your child’s situation.

The school office and school day run from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
